Buying Kunbaa Plus in the app
You can subscribe to Kunbaa Plus on kunbaa.com or in the Kunbaa app through Google Play. It is the same plan either way, $15.99 a month or $159.99 a year in US dollars, and it covers the families you create or are an admin of. This page covers the app: buying, restoring a purchase, cancelling and refunds.
Subscribing in the app
- In the Kunbaa app, tap the menu button at the top of the screen, then Kunbaa Plus. It is in Settings too.
- Choose monthly or yearly, and tap the button below it.
- Confirm in the Google Play sheet.
If you created the family, or joined it yourself and are one of its admins, your plan covers everyone in it straight away, on every device. It does not cover a family you are not an admin of, or one where another admin linked your account to it for you. If you are not an admin, ask one of your family's admins about Kunbaa Plus before you buy. If someone already pays for your family, the Kunbaa Plus screen says so instead of offering a plan.
The free trial
A first subscription on kunbaa.com starts with a 30-day free trial. In Google Play the equivalent offer is a free trial, shown to you at checkout.
Common questions
Is the plan in the app the same as the one on kunbaa.com?
Yes. Kunbaa Plus is one plan: $15.99 a month or $159.99 a year in US dollars, whether you subscribe on kunbaa.com or in the app. A store charges in your local currency, including tax, and shows you that price before you confirm. Bought either way, it covers the same families, and everyone in them: the ones you created, and the ones you joined yourself and are an admin of. The website and the app read the same subscription. What differs is who bills you and where you manage it.
I reinstalled the app and it shows the free plan. What now?
Open Kunbaa Plus in the app and tap Restore Purchases, signed in to Google Play with the Google account you bought with. It does not charge you again. If you subscribed on kunbaa.com there is nothing to restore: sign in to the same Kunbaa account.
How do I cancel a subscription I bought in the app?
Google Play bills it, so you cancel it there. In the app, open Kunbaa Plus and tap Manage subscription, or in the Play Store app go to your profile picture, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Kunbaa. Kunbaa Plus stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling on kunbaa.com does not cancel a store subscription, and neither does deleting your Kunbaa account.
Can I get a refund for a purchase made in the app?
Request it through Google Play, from your order history on play.google.com or in the Play Store app. If Google Play can't help, email support@kunbaa.com, as you would for a subscription bought on kunbaa.com.
