Advertising helps us keep Kunbaa free for most families, cover infrastructure costs, and support growth without compromising your personal data or privacy.

2. Where Ads May Appear

  • Reels & Stories: Short-form content interspersed with native video ads
  • Explore Feed: Banner ads placed between public memory cards
  • Public Albums: Subtle footer banners for relevant family-friendly offers
  • Special Events: Sponsored promotions (e.g. photo books, memory gifts)

3. Ads We Do Not Show

  • No behavioral or retargeted ads
  • No political, adult, or sensitive categories
  • No ads in private content (vaults, legacy posts, chats)
  • No tracking of children or minors (COPPA compliant)

4. Consent & Preferences

Ads are shown with your consent and can be managed via your account settings. You can:

  • Toggle ad visibility at any time
  • Opt out of non-essential cookies (via cookie banner)
  • Upgrade to Pro or Legacy to remove ads entirely
