Kunbaa TV: what it is and where to watch

Kunbaa TV is where Kunbaa's own animated shows play, starting with Kunbaa Tales, short and gentle family stories for little ones to watch with a grown-up. Open the Kunbaa app and tap TV in the bar at the bottom. It is free on every plan, and on a television it has an app of its own for Android TV.

What it plays

  • Kunbaa Tales. Short family stories starring One, Two and Chatter, the three characters of the Kunbaa mark, with Gran, Grandpa and their friends in the meadow. They are told by a narrator in short chapters.
  • Shorts, songs and films for times of the year. Short clips with the same characters, Kunbaa’s songs, and longer stories told in parts.

Each new episode appears once its premiere time has passed. You can meet the characters on the Kunbaa TV page.

Where to find it in the app

Open the Kunbaa app and tap TV in the bar at the bottom. In older versions of the app, Kunbaa TV is the first thing in the Kunbaa tab; update the app to get the newest look. Tap an episode to play it. Below the picture you can choose the language of the story, where it has more than one, and switch subtitles on or off.

What it costs

Nothing. Kunbaa TV is on every plan, the free plan included, and everyone in the family can watch. Every Kunbaa Tales story is also free to watch on YouTube.

For children

Kunbaa Tales are made for little ones watching with a grown-up. Kunbaa accounts are for adults, so a child watches on a grown-up’s phone, or on a television with the Kunbaa TV app, and never needs an account of their own. Kunbaa collects no personal information from children there; the detail is in the Privacy Policy.

A few titles, such as music videos, are made for grown-ups and are not for children. The television app’s Kids profile never shows them. On a phone there is no Kids profile, so a grown-up chooses what to play.

Watching on your television

Kunbaa TV has its own app for televisions that run Android TV. On the television, open Google Play, search for Kunbaa TV and install it. There is no account and no sign-in: the stories play straight away.

  • Kids and Family profiles. The Kids profile is a space for the little ones, and a parent can lock it with a PIN.
  • Language and subtitles. Choose them while a story plays; the television remembers your choice.
