About Kunbaa
A private home for the whole family
Kunbaa is where a family keeps itself: a living family tree with everyone in their place, the photos and stories worth passing on, and a calm space to stay close — however far apart everyone lives. It is invite-only, it has no ads, and it belongs to the families who use it.
What “kunbaa” means
Kunbaa is a North Indian word for the whole extended family — not just the household under one roof, but the grandparents, the aunts and uncles, the cousins in other countries, and the in-laws who became family the day of the wedding. It is a word that assumes everyone belongs.
That is the scale Kunbaa is made for. Most apps are built for one person's feed or one household's photos. Kunbaa is built for the whole kunbaa: many households, several generations, and every side of the family in one place.
Why family matters
